Sharona Torrens is the Executive Manager for Workplace Giving and Indigenous Affairs at Commonwealth Bank.

CBA’s Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan focuses on achieving Indigenous employment parity by 2026, implementing a Cultural Capability Framework, investing in the Indigenous business sector, and enhancing the financial wellbeing of Indigenous communities.
Through CBA’s Workplace Giving strategy, the bank’s staff contribute to communities through giving their money, time and skills. Over 13,000 staff regularly donate to the Staff Community Fund, providing over $3 million in grants to youth-focused charities each year. In the 2015/16 financial year, more than 5000 staff volunteered over 31,000 hours to community organisations.
Prior to her current role at Commonwealth Bank, Sharona was the Group Manager, RAP Program at Reconciliation Australia.
