Murray is a Samsep clan group member from Darnley Island located in the Torres Strait. Murray is an action oriented procurement and supplier diversity specialist, trainer, mentor and volunteer with over 20 years in Government, defence, mining and business sectors in Australia and within our global village. Murray’s business motto is “maximise opportunities to make a difference”.

Murray is the founder and Managing Director of Tagai Management Consultants, a Supply Nation Certified Supplier specialising in procurement and supply chain management, business (development, sustainability and growth), and community development within Australia and the Asia/Pacific region. Murray is also the CEO of Indigenous Supply Chain Connections and Director of Barayamal. Murray is a current member on the Australian delegation of the ISO20400: Sustainable Procurement Committee, and Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Direct Associate.
